In one of Seth Godin’s more recent posts, he wrote about “Marketing in four steps.”
Typical of any Seth Godin post, it was short, insightful, and to the point. You can read it here.
Today I want to highlight his last step. I agree with Seth that this step is the one that is so often overlooked. It’s about showing up, daily.
Like just about anything, effective marketing is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s a long, arduous, and sometimes boring slog.
It can be fun and exciting. It can be meandering, unromantic and painful. And it can be just about everything in-between.
BUT the not so secret formula that will get you to your mission, help your business grow, and help you become the best marketer you can be is simply showing up.
